Why this coming blood moon is important to watch

WND EXCLUSIVE
Ahead of the long-awaited fourth and final “blood moon” over the past year, the pastor and author who discovered the phenomenon that is aligning with biblical holy days predicts the world is on the brink of sweeping change.
And that might not be a good thing for everyone.
Mark Biltz, pastor of El Shaddai Ministries in Bonney Lake, Washington, and author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” spoke to George Noory on his popular late-night radio show “Coast to Coast.”
When Noory asked what Biltz specifically expects in the near future, the pastor said he sees the possibility of a major war involving Israel and an economic collapse.
Biltz explained he is not looking to prophesy or say exactly what’s going to happen but is simply examining previous blood moon events.
“Look at the patterns; it’s always meant war involving Israel,” he said.
Biltz previously explained that in the two previous instances in which there were four blood moons in a row on Jewish holy days, Israel became a nation, in 1948, and retook Jerusalem, in 1967.”
This time, he said, the final blood moon is lining up closely with the end of the seven-year Shemitah cycle.
“It’s a sign based on the Shemitah cycle, which is that every seven years the land was to rest and there was to be an economic reset. And the last two times [this cycle ended], there was economic collapse.
“I think we could very well could see the collapse of the dollar. You read about it in newspapers all over the world. People are talking about the Chinese, the Russians, everyone else wanting to get off of the U.S. dollar. And once they get rid of the dollar and all these countries that are holding the dollar start dumping it, the dollar collapses.”
Biltz told Noory’s listeners people must pay attention to the blood moons and other astronomical events.
“These are signs,” he explained. “I like to say that if you are driving down the highway and you see a sign that says bridge is out, you better hope it’s not out 10 feet away and is 10 miles away.
“I think these blood moons, these signs, are signs telling us of what is yet to come. I’m not saying anything is going to happen on the very day that you have the eclipses.”
But as Biltz points out, so much is happening in the world today, events could quickly spiral out of control, especially abroad. And many of the critically important events in the world don’t just center on the United States but on the Jewish state of Israel.
“You hear reports in the news about Chinese ships off the U.S. coast or Russian ships off the U.S. coast,” he told the “Coast to Coast” audience. “But I think one of the big things that could portend war is what the U.N. will be doing: raising the Palestinian flag at the U.N. If there’s a Palestinian state created this next week, because France is trying to bring the resolution for a Palestinian state, and the U.S. may not veto it this time, I think that would be a huge sign if that happens.”
Noory suggested President Obama might even try to use an atmosphere of crisis to keep himself in office. Biltz said Americans simply have to wait and see.
“If we have a complete society breakdown over the next year or if terrorist attacks take place and they have to postpone the elections, I could see how things like that could happen,” he said.
Both Noory and Biltz agreed the state of the world by itself suggests something significant is happening.
“It’s unheard of,” said Biltz. “It’s unheard of. You see the convergence of all these nations wanting to come together as far as war, you see the economy breaking down. We’re really in it now.
“So much has already happened. You have Ebola, you have ISIS, you have Boko Haram, I could go on and on with things that have happened that make us say, ‘What are you talking about?” I mean, look at the state of this world that we’re in right now, with the immigration crisis. There are so many things going on, I don’t know how anyone could think nothing has happened.”
When asked to identify one of the key events in the world today, Blitz had a surprising answer. Biltz believes the spreading awareness of the biblical calendar is a critically important development.
“There’s now an awareness of this calendar that God is on,” he said. “The creator of the universe has a calendar. I mean, the Mayans have a calendar, the Chinese, the Muslims, the Jews, everyone has a different calendar. The question is, which one is extraterrestrial so to speak? Which one came from the One who created all of this? That’s the one we need to be on.”
Biltz explained God is using blood moons to communicate a universal message to the human race.
“No one can manipulate an eclipse,” he observed. “And no one can control the biblical calendar.
“I think God uses the sun and the moon as signs because they speak in the human language. Every single tribe in the human tongue understands that. For thousands of years, for millennia, there have been omens in the sky. And so I believe it speaks in every language and because man cannot manipulate it, God uses it.”
Biltz also revealed another fascinating biblical mystery during his interview. As he pointed out, Israel was founded in 1948, year 5708 in the Jewish calendar. The 5,708th verse in the Bible is Deuteronomy 30:5, which reads, “And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.”
Noory joked, “A coincidence, right?”
Biltz said this year is the year 5776 in the biblical calendar. And the 5,776th verse, Deuteronomy 32:23, ominously states, “I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.”
Noory asked how prophecy really works and how a person writing ancient Scriptures could predict the events of the future.
Biltz responded, “I think the only way that could work is if someone beyond that person is in control.”
The final blood moon, which also is a “super moon,” is to appear on the night of Sept. 27-28, and some media outlets have accused Biltz of predicting the outright end of the world. Biltz dismisses the claims.
“At no time have I ever claimed that these eclipses meant the end of Earth as we know it,” he told WND.
One news outlet charged that Biltz has taught the final blood moon means the “end of Earth.”
Biltz scoffed: “These people are regurgitating the nonsense others say rather than checking with the source. They have about as much integrity as Hillary Clinton’s email server!”
He said, however, he does think a “revelation” is approaching.
